Minimum Specifications

In order to run TM2 you will need the following specification of computer:
  • Windows XP SP3 (32 & 64 bit), Windows 2003 (all editions) SP2, Windows Vista SP1 (32 & 64 bit), Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit)
  • Processor speed of 1.6GHz or above (minimum recommendation - 1.5 GHz Core2Duo)
  • Memory (RAM) of 512MBytes or above (minimum recommendation 1GB)
  • Screen resolution of 1024x768 or above
  • Broadband required for text and email options, TM2 Online and Multi-Clinic Solutions
  • Additional touch screen hardware is advised to make the most of features in TM2 Touch clinical notes
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

Database Technology

TM2 uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005, the latest database technology from Microsoft and renouned as one of the industry's latest and best database technologies.

Microsoft SQL Server is unique in that it is compact enough to allow its use in small clinics, but also powerful enough to handle the largest corporation.

Online Features

Online features of TM2 are fully integrated into the other parts of the product making a tight and reliable solution.

The website features are implemented in ASP.net, the latest and most flexible development platform from Microsoft. Direct secure integration with the SQL Server database provides great performance and a simple functional solution

Text Features

TM2 Text is the integrated text and email service from TM2. This solution is driven on the internet through a partner company who provides the telecommunications network, able to work in all global mobile networks.

The service links from TM2 on your desktop to our TM2 communications hub which processes your message request.

TM2 Hosted and Multi Clinic

TM2 Hosted is a means of centralising your database in a single, secure location where multiple sites can have fast, reliable access to the data. It also means you don't have to worry about backups, or looking after a server as we take care of that for you. Note that a reliable broadband internet connection is required for TM2 Hosted - we recommend 2MBit/s download and 0.5MBit/s upload speed for an optimal TM2 experience.
