What is TM2 Online?

View your diary from anywhere via the internet or your mobile phone and let clients book their own appointments at any time, day or night, without viewing your diary.

TM2 Online is a website which interacts with your TM2 system to allow patients to book appointments in real time.

Firstly and most importantly this will save you time, and time is money. An average call to book an appointment may only take a minute or two, but if this is taking you or your staff away from other work, then the impact is large.

Also, if you are a single practitioner with no full time administration help, it means that patients can book when they want without having to wait until you can answer the phone. In addition, it provides,

  • Increased Customer Service and Patient Satisfaction leading from your more efficient, reliable and professional booking system.
  • 24 Hour booking. Many people do not have the freedom to phone during working hours, so being able to book in the evenings or at weekends is a big advantage.
  • Accuracy of booking. When a patient books the appointment themselves and sees the details on screen.
  • Automatic Reminders. Set up the system to email (or text) patients the day before their appointment, reducing the risk of them not turning up.
  • Saving you money directly. Automatic cancellation notification will tell patients on waiting lists whenever a cancellation becomes available. As this is done automatically and instantly, the chances of filling that cancellation, even at short notice is much higher.

How It Works

1. Firstly, to ensure that your online booking is extremely secure and reliable, and to remove any reliance on 3rd party Internet Service Providers (ISPs), your TM2 database needs to be part of our TM2 Hosted environment. This is where we host your client data securely in a Blue Zinc approved data centre.

2. We then set up the web page to match your existing image, branding and website (if you don’t have an existing website then no problem, it is not a pre-requisite.

3. The entire set up is carried out from your TM2 desktop within the user friendly environment. An Online dashboard allows you to monitor the internet booking activity and control every aspect of it.

4. You set up which practitioners you want appointments to be available for. There is no need to make all your practitioners available online if you don't want to.

5. Then you set up which availability times should be available. Perhaps you only want patients to book morning slots or Friday afternoons? No problem, just enable only these slots within TM2 and let the system do the rest.

6. Finally, enable your patients. Make sure you get an email address from them as this is their log on, then tell the system to make them 'online'. The patient gets emailed with the log on details, and can then book appointments, and view existing and past appointment as well as their contact details.
